Initiatives

Inter Pipeline is committed to enhancing the well-being of the communities in which it does business by participating in projects that result in long-term sustainability.

Our community investment program focuses on areas where our unique involvement can produce a tangible and measurable result. We support programs and initiatives whose goals include building a self-sustaining legacy in the community. To ensure that our support has the greatest impact possible, our community investment initiatives focus on five areas – youth & education, health & human services, arts & humanities, community development and the environment.

Employee involvement is key to our program and Inter Pipeline encourages employees to be actively involved in the decision making process. Our Community Investment Committee is comprised of employees and management representing a sampling of departments and offices from our Canadian operations. The Community Investment Committee allocates sponsorship to a number of initiatives as well as participating in annual campaigns/organizations such as United Way, Inn from the Cold, Adopt a Family, Big Bike for Heart and Stroke and Canadian Blood Services.
