Maintenance Scheduler
Sherwood Park
This full-time position is responsible for providing scheduling and administration to the organization through the planning and delivery of corrective and preventative maintenance activities on Inter Pipeline Fund’s assets and facilities.
The scheduler will optimize productivity and effectiveness through the coordination of Operation Supervisors and key stakeholders for the Cold Lake and Corridor Oil Sands Transportation. This position reports to theSupervisor, Maintenance Scheduling and is based out of Sherwood Park.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate effective communications and scheduling interactions with all pipeline stakeholders

Own and maintain the pipeline shutdown schedule:

Facilitate and participate in the weekly Maintenance Scheduling meeting

Learn and understand the general operation of the pipelines
-
Coordinate operational requests with Oil Movements

Timely communicate scheduling updates to all internal and external parties

Support the Maximo Work Order Process

Ensure all core work is scheduled and coordinated in a timely and safe manner

Maintain and manage preventative and corrective work orders within your pipeline system(s)

Manage Pipeline Asset Records -
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and buisness requirements
- Provide coverage to other(s) when required
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Mininmum grade 12 diploma, post secondary or operation experience is an asset
- Oil and Gas related experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organization and the ability to multi-task
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Effective team player
- Some pipeline operational knowledge is an advantage
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications
- Experience with Maximo or a similar software
