Mr. Brigstocke has had a distinguished international career in the investment sector spanning 30 years. Mr. Brigstocke joined the stockbroking firm of de Zoete and Bevan in 1969, becoming a partner in 1978. He was appointed head of UK equity sales and a member of the equity executive committee when Barclays bought de Zoete and Bevan as part of the formation of Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW) in 1986. Subsequently, he became the Managing Director and, later, Chairman of Barclays de Zoete Wedd’s corporate broking business, which was acquired by Credit Suisse First Boston in 1998. At that time, he was appointed Chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston UK equity capital markets and served in that position until 2001, following which he acted as a Senior Consultant with Bridgewell Corporate Finance Ltd. until 2004. Mr. Brigstocke currently serves as a non-executive director for a number of private and publicly traded companies.
